General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS)

General purpose Polystyrene (GPPS) is the result of styrene monomer polymerization. It is a transparent solid product manufactured in the form of 2-5 mm pellets.

General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS) is generally used in the manufacturing of:

Applications

  • Hangers
  • Audio Cassettes
  • House Ware Containers
  • Toys and Drinking Cups
  • Stationery
  • XPS insulation

High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS)

High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) contains 5 to 10% rubber (Butadiene) contents and is particularly useful in the manufacturing of parts which require a high degree of impact resistance.

Applications

HIPS is suitable for Refrigerators (stress cracking Resistance Material), high gloss which can be used for some glossy surface products. High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) is generally used in the manufacturing of moulded parts, sheets and laminates of freezers/deep freezers, cutlery etc.

Expandable Polystyrene (EPS)

Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) is expandable polystyrene containing blowing agents (Pentane) and comes in the form of beads. It has thermal insulating, impact resistance and good process ability. Therefore, it can be widely used in thermal insulating materials, packing materials and other special purposes.

Applications

  • Insulation blocks
  • Fish boxes
  • 冰盒等。

Polypropylene continues to be the thermoplastic of choice for countless applications. Whether you use injection moulding, film extrusion, fibre extrusion, oriented extrusion, and thermoforming or blow moulding equipment, our products will fit your specific needs. Three types of polypropylene are currently available. Each suits particular specifications and costing.

Homopolymers- A General Purpose Grade that can be used in a variety of different applications.

Block copolymers- Such grades have better impact and transparency.

Random copolymers- Such polymers typically containing 1-7% ethylene are selected where a lower melting point, more flexibility and enhanced clarity are advantageous.

Applications

  • Domestic appliances
  • Automotive
  • Crates and Boxes
  • Housewares
  • Furniture
  • Medical
  • Industrial
  • Flexible Packaging
  • Rigid Packaging
  • Consumer Products and many more

Polyethylene grades are specifically designed to meet a variety of injection moulding, rotational moulding, blow moulding and film extrusion applications and end-uses.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane

Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)is any of a class of polyurethane plastics with many properties, including elasticity, transparency, and resistance to oil, grease and abrasion. Technically, they are thermoplastic elastomers consisting of linear segmented block copolymers composed of hard and soft segments. They come in different hardness’s ranging from 80-100.

Uses

TPU has many applications including automotive instrument panels, caster wheels, power tools, sporting goods, medical devices, drive belts, footwear, inflatable rafts, and a variety of extruded film, sheet and profile applications. TPU is also a popular material found in outer cases of mobile electronic devices, such as mobile phones. It is also used to make keyboard protectors for laptops.

TPU is well known for its applications in performance films, wire and cable jacketing, hose and tube, in adhesive and textile coating applications and as an impact modifier of other polymers.[4] TPU pellets are used as Adidas' most recent cushioning technology, known as Boost. Several thousands of TPU pellets are bound together to create a comfortable sole for the shoe.

TPU is a common filament material for use in fused filament fabrication 3D printing due to the fact that it is an elastic thermoplastic which makes it ideal for printing objects that need to be flexible and elastic. The fact that TPU is a thermoplastic also allows it to be melted, extruded, then cooled back into a solid which is necessary when 3D printing using fused filament fabrication.
